Shown in 2 coats, this pearlescent nude was released in the Fall 2016 Washington D.C. Collection and this color has recently risen the ranks of popularity due to the Glazed Donut Nail trend.
In the trend, you mix this shade with ½ clear top coat and finish it with chrome powder for extra shine.
But even without the extra chrome powder add-on, the innate sheen in this polish is palpable. It’s invisible from an arms’ length, but you can see it in the finish and when you look closely.
Its micro-pearl sheen is what sets this polish apart from other flat beige nail polish colors, it gives the finish a cool, elegant gloss.
Whether you wear Pale to the Chief as-is or you add extra chrome shine, this is a gorgeous, work-friendly neutral shade that elevates the standard creamy neutral with a boost of micro pearl.
While this shade was released as part of a fall collection, it’s a year round appropriate and can be worn with anything.
If you want to use it in a Glazed Donut Nail look, mix this color with a clear coat to make it semi-sheer and apply 2 coats.
