Designed to be worn over and with the other colors in the collection, it’s especially meant to provide a solution for the Glazed Donut Nails trend.
The Glazed Donut Nails trend originates from Hailey Beiber’s manicure of OPI Pale to the Chief (gel version) topped with OPI’s now discontinued chrome powder, Tin Man Can.
Before the trend began, you could buy a discontinued pot of Tin Man Can Chrome Powder from wholesale nail product resellers like PolishPick.com for about $25.
Instead of making Tin Man Can Chrome Powder available again, OPI created Glazed N’ Amused and I think it’s a great work around.
Chrome powder is fun, and while there are options out there for lower prices, it is messy to apply and takes several extra steps.
Glazed N’ Amused is available in both gel and standard lacquer formula.
It reduces the amount of mess and the number of steps, by providing the glazed donut look in 1 single coat of polish when topped over other colors.
This gorgeous sheer pearl is great solo, but it is meant to be a topper so let’s look at it as a top coat over the 7 cremes from the OPI Spring 2024 Your Way Collection.
