Starrily Noble Neons Collection Swatches
Updated 2024.07.08 and just FYI, Argon (Ar) is currently sold out, meaning you can not get the collection as a 6-piece set at the moment, but you can get on the waitlist using the links below or get the other 5 pieces individually.
Thank you for sending us these polishes to check out, Starrily!
The Noble Neons Collection is a 6 piece set and each shade dries semi-matte.
A nice feature of semi-matte polishes is you can always tell when they’re dry. It makes it easy to identify when to move forward with the next coat because as they dry, they go from glossy to semi-matte.
And while this collection is a summer release, you can wear neons anytime you want.
For example, they’re perfect additions to electric Halloween nail art for vivid, eye-catching designs. They also all glow under a blacklight.
Let’s move through this collection using the ROYGBIV color wheel.
All swatches below are shown on natural nails without a white base coat and a glossy top coat.
Helium (He)
Shown in 3 coats, Helium (He) is a vivid, warm bright pink jelly.
Neon (Ne)
Shown in 3 coats, Neon (Ne) is a hot orange jelly, this color is BRIGHT!
Radon (Rn)
Shown in 3 coats, Radon (Rn) has a smooth, easy to apply formula. It's BRIGHTER than Neon (Ne) and it looks like the fluorescence of a lightning bug's glow. It glows even more brilliantly as it gets darker out.
Krypton (Kr)
Shown in 3 coats, Krypton (Kr) is a perfectly pigmented neon lime green. Like Radon (Rn), it appears to glow brighter as the ambient lighting gets darker.
Xenon (Xe)
Shown in 3 coats, Xenon (Xe) is a cobalt blue jelly in direct sunlight. In low lighting, it’s more of a sapphire blue jelly.
Argon (Ar)
Shown in 2 coats, Argon (Ar) is a deep and vivid, ultraviolet purple when worn during the day time. Like Xenon (Xe), it gets darker in lower lighting. When worn at night, Argon (Ar) appears to be near black with purple undertones.
These polishes contain fluorescent pigments and one of the coolest elements of this collection is how light reactive the colors are.
Several of the colors in this set seem to have a distinct “night mode.” Some of them appear brighter at night, like Radon (Rn) and Krypton (Kr), others are darker at night, like Xenon (Xe) and Argon (Ar).
They also glow under blacklight, which is neat.
The only caveat is that as pretty as neons are, neons can be sensitive pigments that fade more quickly over time when compared to other pigments.
You’ll want to take extra care to preserve this collection. To protect these delicate pigments from UV light, which causes them to break down, store them in a cool, dark location, like inside darkened drawers, until needed.
All in all, in this editor’s opinion, the most striking colors from the collection may be Radon (Rn) and Krypton (Kr). Both of them have such a stunning extra level of glow that activates as soon as the sun starts to set.
