Let’s talk about OPI Let’s Be Friends! It’s from a previous limited edition collection that was made part of the full time OPI line up due to popular demand. I picked this color up a few years ago with my birthday money because of all the hype around it.
Today it is one of our reader’s favorite light pinks, or you could call it a blush white. It’s a very pale pink or a cool white with pink undertones. There are a lot of ways you could define shade but let’s call it an almost white pink creme that’s opaque in two coats.
To begin, you’ll see OPI Let’s Be Friends! swatches, then 6 more options to choose from:
OPI Let’s Be Friends!
The classic pale pink creme shown in 2 coats. This shade is designed to be an opaque creamy “blush” white.
Below are a few comparable colors:
OPI Suzi Chases Portu-geese
Suzi Chases Portu-geese is an off white with a bluish, purplish tint that can have a pinkish look, depending on the lighting and how you look at it. From the Lisbon Collection and Shown in 2 coats, Suzi Chases Portu-geese is my favorite OPI off white.
OPI Hue is the Artist?
OPI Hue is the Artist? is a white with lavender undertones or you could call it a very pale cool lavender shade. Shown in 2 coats, this color is cooler than Let’s Be Friends!
OPI Bon Voyage to Reality!
Shown in 3 coats, Bon Voyage to Reality! is perhaps the closest thing to Let’s Be Friends! in our collection. It’s also a blush white or a very pale pink, but this Barbie-themed color is a touch warmer toned than Let’s Be Friends!

OPI Pink in Bio
Pink in Bio is a newer addition to OPI’s line up, as it was one of the top shades that OPI released in 2023. Shown in 2 coats, this is a warm pink with neutral undertones and it has more pink saturation than Let’s Be Friends!
OPI Lisbon Wants Moor OPI
Shown in 2 coats, Lisbon Wants Moor OPI is a blush pink that is more saturated with pink pigment than Let’s Be Friends! though it is still on the very light and pale pink, close to white end of the pink spectrum. I like to wear this color most in the spring.
essie peak show
Finally, we have essie peak show, shown in 2 coats. We first covered this color in a Valentine’s Day color collection as a cool, powder pink.
Compared to OPI Let’s Be Friends!, essie peak show is in the same color family, though it’s not an exact match. OPI Let’s Be Friends! has whiter tones, where essie peak show has more “pink pop”.
It’s a rare shade and difficult to find in stores, so it is best to get it online.
Expanding your palate in a range of colors you like can be a real source of joy.
