Londontown is a nail brand with a focus on nail care.

They offer two main lines - the “Kur” line, which is all their nail care formulas and the “Lakur” line, which is all their nail colors. In this post, you’ll see a review of 3 products from the Kur line.

While the Kur line does include nail color, like nail concealers, highlighters, blushes and veils, the purpose of the Kur line appears to be nail care treatments.

In addition to focusing on nail care, Londontown has made a commitment to clean beauty plus they’re 21+ free, vegan and cruelty free. They don’t use parabens, phthalates or other toxic ingredients. As a non-toxic nail brand, you don’t need to worry about compromising your long term health for short term beauty gains.

They also have made a sustainability commitment with their packaging. Clean beauty, plus sustainability… It's our vision for the perfect future and Londontown is on board.

Below you’ll see 3 Londontown nail products you’d use before you apply your color - the Soft Touch Nail Scrub exfoliator, followed by the Nail Probiotic Instant Boost nail mask and finishing with the Nail Hardener & Base Coat.

These three products, when used together, create such a beautiful base for you to layer under any of the Londontown nail colors.

Here’s my natural nails before beginning the Kur Nail Treatments:

Damaged Natural Nails Before Londontown Kur Treatments

These are my clean and dry post press-on natural nails without any photo editing. There is a bit of damage from the press-ons and they’re in desperate need of some rejuvenation.

Let’s begin the Kur Nail Treatments with the Soft Touch Nail Scrub:

The above photos show what the Soft Touch Nail Scrub looks like when I’ve just applied it, compared to after I lightly massaged it in as directed.

After applying the Soft Touch Nail Scrub to all 10 fingers, I went back through and used my thumb to gently rub in this formula. It’s a really nice sensory experience; you can feel the exfoliating granules and it soaks in well. When I was finished massaging this formula in, it looked like a lot of the rough bits on the nail and on the cuticle line from the before photo were gone.

This formula contains physical and chemical exfoliators with silica and 3 alpha hydroxy acids - glycolic, lactic and malic acids. It also includes B Vitamins and plant proteins like radish root ferment, which help with skin conditioning and promoting a healthy microbiome.

After I was done with this, I washed and dried my hands.

Londontown Nail Probiotic Instant Boost Just Applied
Londontown Nail Probiotic Instant Boost Massaged In
The above photos show what the Nail Probiotic Instant Boost nail mask looks like when I just apply it, compared to after I lightly massaged it in as directed.

Using the same process as above, I applied the Nail Probiotic Instant Boost to all 10 fingers, then I went back through and used my thumb to lightly rub in this formula. The texture feels like a thick yogurt skincare mask, but for your nails.

Once I was finished massaging this formula in, my first thoughts were “wow, this is really, really hydrating.” The damage in the before photo is nearly invisible and my nails were well on their way to being restored to a healthier state. My nails also just felt nourished and restored. This nail mask is designed to revive your nails with a unique probiotic complex and the results are instant.

After I was done with this, I washed and dried my hands again.

Time for the last step, the Nail Hardener & Base Coat:

After applying Londontown Soft Touch Nail Scrub, Nail Probiotic Instant Boost, Nail Hardener & Base Coat
The Nail Hardener & Base Coat, shown in 1 coat, gave my nails a nice, healthy shine.

It also created a harder surface on my nails, which were weakened and thinner from the press-on removal. When this dried, I pressed down on my nail tips and I could feel the strength restored to my nail. My nails were more resistant to bending, yet still flexible and bouncy.

The Nail Hardener & Base Coat contains a botanical complex to strengthen nails, with ingredients like evening primrose oil, garlic extract, Vitamin E and biotin. So while it is a solid base coat, it includes those valuable treatment ingredients too.

To recap, let’s revisit the before and after photos:

As you can see, my dehydrated, damaged nails really needed these treatments!

The Soft Touch Nail Scrub and the Nail Probiotic Instant Boost go perfectly together, as the exfoliation makes way for the mask to soak in.

You *could* stop at the Nail Probiotic Instant Boost mask and use it as a leave-on treatment, but if you want to add a color on top or if your nails are thin and weak, adding the Nail Hardener & Base Coat after the mask has soaked in is useful.

It protects the nails with a layer of shine and strength.
