The Best Affiliate Programs for Nail Bloggers

This post contains affiliate links and Lots of Lacquer will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on these links.

Affiliate marketing is a solid, time-tested way to add multiple revenue streams to your business.

You simply recommend products you love and use to others through affiliate links that you strategically place on digital and social media properties you have access to managing.

When someone clicks on and buys a qualifying item from that link, you earn a commission.

Each affiliate program has different guidelines for how much commission you can earn, how much assistance you’ll get from the brand’s marketing team, where and how you can post links, with some programs very liberal and others more conservative - so you’ll want to review the guidelines of each affiliate program you’re in before you begin posting.

Despite each program’s differences, all have the power to boost your bottom line.

Affiliate marketing is a win-win for all - with more revenue coming in, you can continue to share your expertise, the brand will also make money and gain new customers, and your audience can continue to enjoy your content, plus receive products they love in the mail.

Everyone gains from affiliate marketing done well!

Have a nail focused website or social media platform? Want to increase your monetizing efforts?

Below are some of the best affiliate marketing programs we’ve found so far:

1 - Temu

This affiliate program is the most successful on this website to date.

Temu offers a variety of nail products - press ons, nail decorations and manicurist tools. They are one of the best vendors for nail art supplies like chrome and chameleon powders, nail art brushes and more.

Temu offers two ways to grab your affiliate links - via the Temu App or the website, making it easy to promote via desktop or mobile. They have a variety of promotions you can use to generate sales, including your own coupon code.

Once you sign up for the Temu Affiliate Program, you’ll access your affiliate account by typing “affiliate” in the search Temu bar. From there, you’ll be greeted with exclusive deals to offer your audience and ideas for how to share your unique links.

Right when you sign up for the Temu Affiliate Program, there’s a bunch of bonuses you can earn to kick start your success, so be ready to start promoting!

They pay commissions quickly (usually within the same month earned) and give you two options to receive your payouts - a PayPal account or Temu credits to purchase more items to promote. We’ve used both methods.

2 - ShopMy

Another affiliate program that resonates with our audience is ShopMy. You can grab affiliate links via their website or app, which makes it easy to promote on either desktop or mobile.

ShopMy is the affiliate home for several higher paying affiliates like Manicurist, Sephora, Ulta, and affiliates with beauty departments like Target. You’ll use one ShopMy login to promote all these brands.

What I like most about the ShopMy Affiliate Program is the cash bonuses you can earn at various tiers of success.

Their payout is through PayPal.

3 - Beetles Gel Polish

Beetles Gel Polish doesn’t just sell gel polish! They also offer nail art supplies, 12-free nail polishes, press on nails, dip powders, polygels and more. Beetles Gel Polish really excels at offering kits and supplies for creating nail art.

One thing I love about the Beetles Gel Affiliate Program is there are few restrictions on where and how you can promote, which makes it easy to generate sales.

The payout is via PayPal and Beetles can be quite generous with sending products to promote, too.

4 - Awin

Awin is the affiliate home of Etsy, allowing you to create affiliate links to boutique nail brands like KBShimmer, ILNP and Cirque Colors!

Once inside Awin, apply to Etsy’s Affiliate Program and when approved you can start creating links to all the brands on Etsy. There are links and promotional banners Etsy provides, plus deep linking is also an option.

My favorite part of the Etsy affiliate portal is the Etsy Affiliate Hub, which allows you to easily create links or marketing images to go with each brand on Etsy. You simply link your Awin affiliate account number to your Etsy Account and you can then create dynamic and static photographic ad units to specific products and brand homepages you select.

They payout via direct deposit.

5 - Share-A-Sale

Share-A-Sale is owned by Awin, but it’s a totally different platform.

Share-A-Sale is the affiliate home of Londontown, Sleek Nail, Dazzle Dry and Dollar Tree. Once inside the Share-A-Sale Affiliate Network, you’ll need to apply to each individual brand’s program. Then, like Awin and ShopMy, you’ll have one login to promote all the brands inside.

When approved to the individual brand programs, you’ll have access to the promotional materials from each brand, static promotional links and deep linking from your Share-A-Sale Dashboard.

Affiliate marketing can be fun, but you must remember to follow FTC guidelines when promoting your links. This usually means adding disclosures wherever you post them.

We add affiliate links to social media using hash tags like #sponsored or #commissionearned. We also embed them into the website using disclaimers in the headers and footers, plus a code block with this code:

<u><a rel=“sponsored” href="(your link goes here)" target="_blank">(your text goes here)</a></u>

Once you’re in a program, check back frequently to see if the program you are participating in is offering sales, coupons or other fun events for customers - as you can then promote these on your website and socials to boost your sales!

As you on-board each program into your system, stay organized. We like a spreadsheet listing the terms and conditions of each program so it’s easy to keep track of earnings and current registrations.
