OPI Cajun Shrimp NLL64 is a coral red nail polish with overarching pink tones.

As one of our readers’ current favorite reds, it’s right up there next to Big Apple Red.

If you’re looking for the perfect summer red, Cajun Shrimp is a solid bet.

It’s a really gorgeous nail polish to wear in both manicures and pedicures, and a stunning warm weather favorite.

Shown in this post in 2 coats, Cajun Shrimp has a cream finish and is easy to apply. It’s one of those colors that you can wear over and over, and still find it attractive.

Commonly compared to another popular coral red, essie geranium 536, today we’re going to show you swatches of OPI Cajun Shrimp, and then compare it to essie geranium - both in two coats.

Both of these colors are bold, warm, summer red nail polishes. They both could also be called corals as they each have some orange to them and they’re very similar.

They differ in that OPI Cajun Shrimp, is a bit brighter and has more overarching pink tones, whereas essie geranium, is a bit darker (though not by much) and more saturated with red and orange tones.

You can only go right with both of these colors and essie geranium isn’t a dark red by any means at all, it does jump off the nail, it’s just that Cajun Shrimp is a touch lighter.

All in all Cajun Shrimp is a gorgeous, perfect creamy summer red. Its competitor, essie geranium, holds its own in terms of pure beauty, too. Which one you get, is really all up to what color tone you like the most.

If you’re looking for an iconic coral red color that’s got flattering pink tones, get Cajun Shrimp at Ulta.

If you’re looking for a bright, saucy summer red with a coral lean, get essie geranium on Amazon.
