Two of OPI’s most loved shades are being featured today, Bubble Bath and Samoan Sand.

Below, you will find two swatches of Bubble Bath and Samoan Sand, both shown in two coats and using the original lacquer formula, along with a bit of information about how these shades compare and contrast.

The swatches in this post are on warm toned lighter skin that tans easily in the summer. Because these shades are sheer, the ultimate color they appear on each nail will vary depending on the undertone of the nail.

The main difference between Bubble Bath and Samoan Sand is in their overall color family.

While they are both warm toned, Bubble Bath is in the pink family of colors, as a peach. Samoan Sand is in the brown family of colors, as a light tan.

Both of these colors are sheers. Both of them can be complimentary to your outfit in a variety of situations. Both of them are work-friendly or work-appropriate colors. Both would be great for an interview situation.

So it is really up to you in what you are looking for as far as overarching color tone.

Maybe consider your skin’s undertone when selecting one of these shades.

If you have cooler, pinker undertones, Bubble Bath may be a better match for your skin type. If you have warmer, more olive undertones, perhaps Samoan Sand would be best. If you have a mix of tones in your skin, they can both look good.

Do you want more of a warm pink color? Go with Bubble Bath.

Do you need more of a light tan color? Go with Samoan Sand.
