Gold nail colors are pretty, aren’t they?
Gold nail polishes might be the crème de la crème of nail polishes. There are few things on Earth as luxurious as gold dipped nails.
Even when gold on your nails isn't “real” gold, the tone of gold on the nails can give your whole look a rich feel. You can get real gold on your nails.
Cirque Colors sometimes make it, but it’s not always available and when it is, it’s as expensive as you might expect.
There’s no 14k, 18k, 22k or 24k indicators on it, yet it is a polish that is available all the time and at drugstore pricing.
good as gold is a cool, yellow gold toned nail polish with a chrome metallic finish.
The look is mirror-like, no chunky glitter pieces here.
Shown in two coats with a glossy top coat.
Likely due to weight, metallic pigments seem to settle more easily to the bottom of the bottle than other types of pigments.
When you don’t shake to mix the formula before use, there is a strong possibility you’ll end up with oily-looking streaks and metal streaks, but not blended together.
This is true with any metal-like polish we’ve tested so far, including essie penny talk - essie’s rose gold with a similar finish to good as gold.
That’s the only hack with this polish and it’s not even that much of a hack.
It’s gorgeous, goes on smoothly, dries quickly, removes easily and gives the feeling of satisfaction that you get when looking at gold.
