Most of the products in this list are known irritants, hormone disruptors, endocrine disruptors, carcinogens and poisons.
I specifically love that these polishes are free of BPA and Parabens, two ingredients that are specifically on my environmental beauty watch list, as they’re linked to reproductive dysfunction and cancer.
Despite the toxicity of some of the ingredients above, they are still often included in beauty products here in the USA.
It’s up to us as customers to say no to these types of products with our dollars, which means we can say yes to cleaner products by cleaner brands, like ella + mila.

ella + mila nail polishes are also quick dry and chip resistant, but at a standard lacquer price. This means you get a long-wearing manicure, without the long-wear manicure price tag.
