While recently traveling, I was looking for a quick and easy way to remove my press on nails, because the acetone pads I brought with me were not cutting it, and the acetone soak-off method was requiring way too much product and time.

Also, it does work by more easily removing press on nails. With this product, most of my sets using adhesive tabs, glue, adhesive plus glue, have simply popped off using the method below, with no damage to my natural nails.

  • Apply Magic Off to the cuticle line and let it sit for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

  • Gently lift the edges of your press on nail from the natural nail using a cuticle stick.

  • Apply Magic Off again, continuing to lift the press on from the natural nail starting at the cuticle line, separating the adhesive or glue bond with a cuticle stick, until all nails have popped off.

  • If a cuticle stick is not working because the blade is blunted or you’re out of cuticle sticks, try dental floss as an alternative. Thread the dental floss into the space where the press on is lifting at the cuticle line and pull gently downward to the tip of your nail.

Most press ons will pop off using just Magic Off, on its own, especially if you are using adhesive tabbed or adhesive plus glue press ons.

If you’re using glue or a combination of glue and adhesive, and want to speed up this process, I’ve found that applying a little acetone, in conjunction with the Magic Off, by using a glass dropper, pipetting it directly on the cuticle line and nail bed can target stubborn remains and remove the final bits of stuck press on nail and fixative.

I’m glad I took the chance on Dashing Diva Magic Off, because it really has paid off.

It’s shortened the time it takes for me to remove my press ons and it has made the time I spend doing it way less frustrating. If you have press ons in your collection, and are looking for an easier press on nail removal solution, I highly recommend this product.
