My Favorite White Nail Polish Colors

White nail colors can symbolize new beginnings, a clean slate, purification, honesty, cleanliness, innocence and perfection.
I like white nail polishes because they go with everything. They can make your hands look tanner and they tend to have a crisp look.
White nail polishes are also great to have on hand for nail art.
They’re a staple in French Manicures, flower nail designs and any nail design celebrating a sports team - since most sports teams have white in their list of team colors.
White nails aren’t just for after Memorial Day. You can certainly wear them to kick off the wedding season, or in the depths of winter for a frosty, icy look.
I’ve had the luxury of sampling a variety of white nail colors, as white is one of our readers’ favorite colors and of all the white nail colors I’ve tested so far, I do have a few favorites.

Shown in 2 coats, first fitting is an opaque, creamy crisp white. It’s easy to apply, longwearing and currently an essie best seller.
I like this one because it has a beautiful shine to it. While it is a bold white, it’s not too in your face. I’m looking forward to experimenting with this in a French Manicure using essie gel couture sheer fantasy as the base pink.

Shown in 2 coats, essie marshmallow is my favorite milky white nail color. I often reach for this shade when I don’t know what else to wear and have a backup bottle of it.

Shown in 2 coats, tuck it in my tux is my next favorite milky white. It’s a semi-sheer white, like marshmallow, but it has warmer undertones.
