If you’re looking for classy Christmas nails, you’ve come to the right place.

We love scouring The Earth for the prettiest pigments out there for any season’s festivities, and Christmas is by no means an exception, if anything, it takes center stage.

A few good Christmas nail polish colors you can always rely on are:

  • Red

  • Green

  • Silver

  • Gold

These festive colors are often the most popular this time of year.

For more festive Christmas nail inspiration, below are swatches of our Christmas nail color picks this year -

Kokie Rendezvous

Shown in 3 coats, Rendezvous is a bright red cream that looks very similar to OPI’s Big Apple Red though it’s a tad more sheer.

From Kokie’s Green Polish line, it is long-wearing, 16-free, cruelty-free and 77% natural origin. You could wear it in 2 coats for an even jelly finish, but 3 coats will give you the fullest coverage.

OPI Red Heads Ahead

Shown in 2 coats, Red Heads Ahead is another bright red cream, though it is more opaque in fewer coats than Kokie Rendezvous. It’s from the Fall 2019 Scotland Collection, which is full of many OPI gems.

Sephora x Pantone Universe Evergreen

Shown in 3 coats, Evergreen is a pearlescent dark emerald green polish. It’s from the 2012 Sephora X Pantone Universe Jewel Lacquer Collection.

This collection was released over a decade ago, but you can still find a few other Sephora nail colors at Sephora.com or maybe you have something similar in your collection already.

essie set in stones

Shown in 3 coats, set in stones is a chunky silver glitter in a clear base that gives off a dazzling sparkle. It's meant to be a topper, but you can wear it as a full coverage polish.

This is 1 of 3 in essie’s chunky glitter collection - there’s also a metallic pink called “a cut above” and a yellow gold called “the summit of style.”

For best results removing this polish, soak your nails in acetone for 10-15 minutes before you take a remover pad soaked in acetone to scrub it off.

L’Oréal Because You’re Worth It

Shown in 3 coats, Because You’re Worth It is a warm, metallic gold pearl. For best results, pair it with your favorite quick drying top coat.

Because You’re Worth It is the iconic L’Oréal slogan, and in case you’re wondering, Because I’m Worth It, is also a statement they’re known for as it was their 1971 slogan.

So, what is your favorite Christmas nail color? Do you have just one, or do you enjoy the interplay of all the colors together?

Whichever is your favorite, get out your red, green and bling-sparkle, because it’s time to add some Christmas Spirit to your nails!
